How to make Easter cards

If there’s one event in the calendar that we associate with crafting, it’s Easter. From painting Easter eggs to decorating your own bonnet, the possibilities are endless. However, these traditional activities can feel a bit too twee for some. Instead, why not make a stylish card to wish your loved ones a happy four-day weekend? We’ve put together a video to show you how to make Easter cards that are more about the chic than fluffy yellow chicks.

What you’ll need

To make this egg-cellent Easter card, all you need is:

Now let’s get cracking!

How to make Easter cards

Step 1

Print out the template and cover the back of it with glue. Stick the template back-to-back with your chosen piece of coloured/decorative paper.

Step 2

Cut out the individual eggs using the guidelines on the template.

Step 3

Make the card by folding a piece of card in half.

Step 4

Stick one of your egg shapes in the centre of the front of the card. Fold the other eight egg shapes in half (lengthways).

Step 5

Apply glue all over the egg shape on the card and stick 2 egg halves on top of it.

Step 6

Repeat steps 5 and 6 until you have used all the eggs, then glue the final pair of eggs together. Eggcellent work!
