Have you seen our amazing range of cards, aptly titled ‘On The Cards?’

‘On the Cards’ began as an idea between Reggie Pugh (Paper Rose) & Mark Jessett (G.F.Smith) to form a student competition. From this ‘On the Cards’ was born. It’s a collaboration between Paper Rose, The Art Group, G.F Smith, Sherwood Press & Paperchase.

The competition aims to raise awareness of this vibrant industry and to encourage the greatest talent and innovation in cards. The following four ranges are the current winners.

You can’t say Danielle Wetton hasn’t bought innovation to cards with the #SaySelfie range! These are so much fun – you simply pop the prop off the cover and take a selfie! We had some fun here at Paperchase with them (we think the glasses were a fave?) Use the hashtag #SaySelfie and join in the fun. Danielle is a Leicester based graphic designer and illustrator. She loves dipping her brush in ink and illustrating beautiful words. If she could take a selfie anywhere in the world, it would be in Times Square New York.

A pleasing array of neon goodness, yes? Yum. These are all the props, but if you want them all, you’ll have to buy them all. Soz.

Neon Props

As you can see – even when you pull your photo prop off of the card, the design is still there, clever huh?

Next up are these beautiful ‘Sew It Yourself’ cards, which as you may have guessed, you sew yourself. They come with string on adorable paper reels and full instructions, which are actually very beautiful in themselves. The perfect card for someone who likes to dive into their creative side. You will need a needle, scissors, tape and a nice cuppa on a relaxing Sunday afternoon!

These cards were designed by Lucy Featherstone from University at Nottingham Trent. Lucy has a passion for the illustrative side of graphic design and really enjoys experimenting with different materials and methods when solving a brief, usually mixing hand-craft with digital techniques. Lush.
