Washi tape is one of the most versatile and pretty craft materials around. Surprisingly though, many people just don’t know where to start with using it. Today I’ll share 10 ideas which I really love, quick and easy ways to jazz up everyday objects and get yourself organised (in a less “boring chores” and more “pretty craft” kind of way).
Our iconic highlighters really are the highlights of our lives! Spreadsheets were once boring. At one time we hated highlighting passages in our text books. Years ago we dreaded doing our accounts. Then it all changed, then we found these highlighters and they showed us spreadsheets weren’t boring, our accouting could be fun and revision suddenly rocked, because it wasn’t them that were boring. It was our stationery.
We have been known to buy a notebook just for it’s cover, unlike books they come blank, so quite frankly there’s no other way.
So, you’re sat at your desk and any inspiration seems like it is a million miles away. We’ve all been there, right? But look around you, those little clips and sticky tabs, they are so much more than just useful bits and bobs to organise your day. They are waiting to be played with! Line them up, arrange them into circles, stack them on top of each other and before you know it, your creative block will be quaking in its boots!
Day 2 of Stationery Week is here Stationery Addicts!
Today is the first day of National Stationery Week and we are celebrating paper! A whole day dedicated to paper – how dreamy is that?
One aspect of stationery week is the idea of getting kids writing and really, getting us all writing again. Sure we’ve got gadgets a plenty, but a good old hand written note is really the way to impress.
We’ve started organising our organisers, diaries and other organising stationery into grids! What do you mean we’re supposed to use them?
