Our newest student ambassadors have officially been selected and accepted with open arms to the University of Paperchase. Here to help us spread the stationery loving feels, we caught up with them to learn a bit more about what their studying, what their desk essentials are and what their stationery range would be like.
After winning our #schoolofpaperchase competition our ambassadors have given themselves a desk refresh with their prize. Let’s learn a bit more about who they are and how they won!
STUDIES: Textile Design
WHY? Because I have a love of colour and shape which inspires a playful approach towards contemporary design
WHERE? The Glasgow School of Art
MUST HAVE? I LOVE my bullet journal, I’d be lost without it. Otherwise, I’m quite partial to a chunky paint marker or a nice ruler
WORK ENVIRONMENT? Oooh, something with a nice print, maybe a pretty To-Do List. Or maybe some lovely mugs, that’s what’s currently ‘decorating’ my desk right now as I write my dissertation
YOUR COLLECTION: Okay, it would undoubtedly be quite illustrative with lots of fun colours and shapes. Maybe a couple of sausage dogs thrown in there too for good measure

Next Up: Harriet
WHY? I chose geography because it’s a subject that holds important answers to some of the biggest problems in our world, like climate change. It also means that I get to go on really awesome field trips, which is a nice bonus!
WHERE? Durham University
MUST HAVE? Definitely a pretty notebook…I always need somewhere to write down the hundreds of to-do lists I make!
WORK ENVIRONMENT? A big notice board with plenty of photos and keepsakes pinned onto it.
YOUR COLLECTION: I’m a fan of minimalism, so it’d have to be something simple, yet striking.

Let’s meet… Louisa
STUDIES: Art Foundation
WHY? I want to do a degree in graphic design but didn’t quite feel ready so it’s a perfect stepping stone from A levels to University
WHERE? My local college in Cambridge
MUST HAVE? My bullet journal, or any notebook! I own way too many
WORK ENVIRONMENT? Postcards and posters – or anything that inspires me on the wall around me, and of course some fairy lights
YOUR COLLECTION: It would have to have lots of geometric shapes and pastel colours

WHY? I love science but I also wanted a career that would allow me to be hands-on in helping people rather than working in a lab
MUST HAVE? A good black fineliner – I don’t think I could live without one!
WORK ENVIRONMENT? Needs a cute scented candle
YOUR COLLECTION: I think that there would probably be lots of floral patterns and hand-lettered quotes!

WHY? I’ve always loved science and wanted to do something with my passion that would allow me to make a difference to others!
WHERE? University of Manchester
MUST HAVE? Definitely a planner – I need to organise my time, I live and breathe through my many planners!
WORK ENVIRONMENT? I need a cactus – I think they look so cool and have always wanted one, but just never got round to getting one!
YOUR COLLECTION: I have a weakness for all things floral, so it’d definitely have flowers! But at the same time, it’d have to be very simple and classy because I’m a minimalist at heart and love it when stationery can look elegant too!
